Next-door parking lot paving project, Day 2.
I stood in out in the RAIN for THREE HOURS with my son and answered approximately 437,251 questions.
Happily, I had the foresight to a) put on pants, and b) bring my coffee.
I look like a drowned rat and my feet hurt. It’s okay, because today (at least) I did not suck at this mom business.
I still do not excel at the picture-taking, though, as evidenced by my finger in the upper left of this photo.

LOL I remember when Matthew was young, we brought out the lawn chairs to watch bulldozers next door. We had drinks, snack, and I answered the same amount of questions you did. The things moms do….
