Jim brought my computer into the hotel tonight. Thanks goodness. I was without it for two whole days.
Two days!
Here is a snapshot of the drive so far -
“Big, I am not having a conversation about mud right now.” “Okay Mom, we can talk about tarantulas.”
“You aren’t hungry. No you aren’t. I don’t care. Be quiet.”
“Mommy! You have to tell me when the bumps are coming up! The road is messing up my coloring!”
“Oh my gosh, get your feet of the back of my seat! You were just in a disgusting public bathroom!”
“Mommy, are we still deep in the hat of Texas?”
“Did you wash your hands? Where’s the antibac?”
“Three sixty-nine a gallon! Are they serious right now?”
“You aren’t hungry. No you aren’t. I don’t care. Be quiet.”
Oh, for the curious, this is the actual house in Arizona where we stayed.

That house rocks! And they could not possibly be hungry with all that tupperware…

My husband makes everybody drag their shoes through the grass before getting back into the car after all pit stops.
I hate to tell you but gas in the Midwest is currently running around $3.70…it was even higher last week.
That house is amazing! So colorful and cute.

Heated pools and $3.69 gas deep in the ten gallon hat of Texas sounds pretty good. We’ve been at $4+ for a while.

I would have been in that pool just about every waking hour.
Jealous!
The further east you go, the more your gonna pay for gas.

I don’t see our long-drive classic: “No, we AREN’T there yet. You’ll know we’re there when we pull into the driveway.”
