That was cool except the part about the Bison calves….I hate to think of the bears chasing down and devouring the poor little babies.

Nature is brutal, isn’t it?
According to one of the naturalists, the larger predators are having a hard time finding food because the prey animals are so healthy, and there aren’t as many weakened animals for them to pick off. The elk and bison all seem quite robust. We’ve seen LOTS of baby bison – So! Cute!
