Amazing Book Sale

A few weeks ago, one of my favorite places to buy books for the kids – Library and Educational Services – had a gigantic sale: buy $100 in books, get another $100 in books for FREE.

FREE, people.

Free is the way into my little tightwad heart.

Yesterday, the books came in the mail. I still can’t believe how many I was able to buy with my hundred bucks.

Observe:

This morning, I got another newsletter from Library and Ed announcing they were going to do it again. I was thrilled with my haul from the first sale, so I emailed them to ask if I could give out the coupon codes to my readers.

You’re Welcome.

There is only one small catch – they are a book wholesaler. They sell to educators, churches, libraries, and schools. Homeschoolers qualify as educators and can take advantage of the wholesale prices. If you aren’t a homeschooler….I’m sorry, but you’re outta luck.

What you want to do is register at Library and Ed, then after you have created an account, click this link to see the list of eligible books. They even take Paypal – a feature I truly love.

And now, for the coupon codes!

Choose $100 in books from this list. Then shop for another $100 in merchandise and get it FREE. The coupon code is $100BOOKS.

Alternatively, choose $200 in books from the same list, and get $200 in merchandise FREE. The coupon code is $200BOOKS.

If you have any trouble, email Brandon@LibraryandEd.com and I’m sure he will be able to help you. But the offer expires at midnight on Thursday, June 23rd, so act fast if this is tempting.

As per usual, I received no compensation or incentive to write about this. I like this company and think this deal is just too good not to share. Because I am super awesome that way.

Nope – you can choose $100 in free merchandise from anywhere else on the website – Drive-Thru History Videos, Adventures in Odyssey cds, American Girl stuff, Bibles, Cookbooks….and on and on and on.

    Great deal, huh?

Just to let you know, there was apparently a server issue with their website when I ordered tonight (Wed.). As a result, they ended up TRIPLE billing me…and Paypal could not refund me, but I have to contact the company directly. I did that – using the general customer service number and the email above. I hope they respond appropriately and quickly; otherwise, I’m going to vociferously warn others to steer very clear.

Tina, I’m sorry you had a difficult time with your order. I have ordered from them several times and never had a problem. I hope you get it all worked out – and that you enjoy your new books when they come!

    Deb –
I sent an email to the general customer service address and then to Brandon directly…and he took care of it before I even checked my computer this morning. That’s impressive customer service, and I told him so. :^) I don’t know if the issue is going to affect other customers, but I have every confidence that Brandon is looking into it this morning. Now Paypal is another matter – even though it’s clear it was an issue with the LES server, I still have to jump through their hoops, which means I won’t actually have my money back in my bank account for probably a week. Grr. But that is not LES’s problem; computer glitches do happen, but Brandon was absolutely fabulous about helping me.

I’ve now shared your post on my Facebook wall, hoping to help others get a great deal today and to promote LES – and I can’t wait to get my books! :^)

I wanted to order soso badly, but couldn’t find enough books to justify the first $100. There’s a huge selection of Christian books, but for we heathens, it’s slim pickin’s. You made out like a bandit, though, good for you!
